LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Shave the day before your treatment! Its that easy, and YES you can shave as many times as you would like in between your sessions. NO WAXING, TWEEZING, SUGARING, Nothing but shaving;)

Ideally 6-8 treatments to achieve 90-95% Hair Reduction

Unfortunately not this color of hair, it has the wrong type of melanin that would  be needed to attract the laser.

Unfortunately you will need to wait, enjoy your bundle of joy ! Check in 6 -8 weeks after you are done breastfeeding!

We advise against exercising  or sweating for the first 24 hours, or doing anything that creates heat in the area (ie Hot-tub, sauna, sun bathing).

3D IPL

We recommend 4-6 treatments spaced approximately 4 weeks apart.

Yay No downtime! You will have darkening of the pigmented spots for roughly 6-7 days. You will need to stay out of the sun for approximately two weeks. You must wear your sunscreen daily.

Treatments can be performed on light to medium skin types. It can not be used on anyone with dark skin tones or with Melasma.

Tanning during and up to 3-4 weeks pro to your appointment is not advised. You will not be treated.

Please avoid self tanners and tanning for 2-4 weeks prior to treatment

Be sure to make me aware of any fillers or Botox or threads beforehand.

Treated lentigines (aka liver spots), usually darken slowly over the next 24-72 hours. Crusting (it’s what we want to see!) begins to form within a few days. The crusting will resolve itself in 1-3 weeks

Allow the crusts to naturally flake off for best results

Redness or swelling is normal; this will subside within 24 to 72 hours

WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN – THIS IS NON NEGOITABLE! Apply multiple times throughout the day and avoid sun exposure for a minimum of one week and up to 14 days (14 days is recommended)

Avoid artificial tanning or sun exposure between treatments

Laser Versus IPL

IPL Systems create a wide spectrum of pulsed light wav lengths like a light bulb. This wider range means that only some of the wavelengths will target the hair. While Lasers send out a single beam of light, IPL systems send out a whole spectrum of light. IPL is not as strong as laser which can mean less efficacy in treatments and results as well as IPL Is unable to treat all skin types.

Laser Hair Removal systems generate a single wavelength of light. This means it’s a concentrated beam that will target the pigment in the hair follicle. Lasers can be adjusted to different settings to work with particular hair and skin types. Lasers can be safely used on dark and tanned skin because the heat is absorbed by the hair follicle, not the skin.

Microneedling

Avoid Accutane in the six months prior to beginning your treatment sessions.

Do not use topical agents that may increase the sensitivity of your skin such as retinoids, exfoliants, topical antibiotics or acids 5-7 days prior to your treatment.

Avoid IPL/Laser procedures, unprotected sun exposure, or sunburn for at least 2 weeks prior to your procedure.

No waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis to the area being
treated for 5-7 days prior.

If you’re prone to cold sores, take an antiviral agent for 2 days prior to and the day of the treatment.

Avoid blood thinning agents for one week prior because bruising is a common side effect of microneedling.

Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications for one week after the procedure.

Do not use ice on your face! This may interfere with the natural inflammatory process that’s critical for your skin rejuvenation.

Avoid sun tanning and self tanners , and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks. After 24 hours, always use sunblock (30
SPF or higher) and wear a hat if you’re outside. Sunscreen is non
negotiable.

Use your at home treatment kit as directed.
